Two Killed in Crash on Corcoran Road Identified
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2022) — Alfredo Caal, 25, and Hugo Tiul, both of Lost Hills, died Monday morning in a crash on Corcoran Road between three motorists, just north of Highway 46 in the Lost Hills area of Kern County.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred about 6:41 a.m. on Oct. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police say a driver in a black Infiniti allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head on with a silver Kia Spectra occupied by the Lost Hills men.
CHP officials and paramedics responded to the scene where they located five people with injuries. The two people in the Kia Spectra died at the scene. One person was pinned in a black Infiniti and two others were walking around with undisclosed injuries.
Also, authorities closed down Corcoran Road to all traffic and called for the coroner.
Meanwhile, one person from the Infiniti was transported to a hospital for follow-up care.
Finally, the cause of the crash and liability are under investigation.
