Hit-and-run Driver Struck, Killed Former Little League Coach

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (April 24, 2024) — Anthony Molina, 44, of San Bernardino, died last Friday in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Marshall Boulevard in San Bernardino.

The victim was reportedly pushing a shopping car in the roadway when an oncoming vehicle struck him.

The collision occurred at around 3:20 a.m. on April 19th, near Elm Avenue, according to the San Bernardino Police Department and the San Bernardino Sun.

Authorities say the victim was heading home and possibly jaywalking, but that the driver was required to stop and call for help and is now a suspect facing charges.

Investigators are working on the case and piecing together evidence in an effort to locate the driver.
