Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident on Mills Avenue
SOUTH WHITTIER, Calif. (April 24, 2024) — Anthony Quinones, 24, of Hesperia, died in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night on Mills Avenue at Reis Street in South Whittier.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound side of Mills Avenue at around 11:23 p.m. on April 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and a gray Infiniti collided due to unknown circumstances at the South Whittier intersection. The rider was thrown off the bike into the roadway.
Paramedics responded and pronounced the rider dead on the scene. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified the victim as Anthony Quinones.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles for evidence.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle crash on Mills Avenue.
