3 Injured in Crash at Apple Valley Intersection
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (March 4, 2024) – Three people were injured in an Apple Valley car accident Sunday night at Kiowa Road and Rancherias Road.
The drivers involved were a white KIA Optima and a gray Ford SUV.
Two of the three victims were critically injured in the collision reported at around 7:12 p.m. on March 3rd, according to the Victor Valley News Group.
Two Critically Injured, One Minor Injuries
Two helicopters airlifted the patients with major injuries to a trauma center after firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District extricated them from the wreckage.
Meanwhile, the third person was also taken by ambulance to a hospital with minor injuries.
Also, tow trucks removed the Kia with major front-end damage and the Ford with rollover damage from the crash site.
Finally, the cause of the car accident and liability is under investigation by the Apple Valley Police Department.
