Man Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash Identified
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (April 26, 2022) – Artemio Hernandez, 42, died in an El Segundo crash involving a Caltrans truck Sunday on the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at North Nash Street.
The three-vehicle crash occurred a little after 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 24th, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Artemio Hernandez was later identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The vehicles involved included a Caltrans truck and two others, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
CHP officials issued a Sigalert at 8:20 a.m. and closed down both the number one and two lanes due to the investigation.
The investigation into the fatal El Segundo crash is ongoing. Witnesses may contact the CHP or contact them for further information.
