Big Rig Truck, Car Collide in Major Injury Crash
ATWATER, Calif. (March 10, 2022) — An Atwater crash involving a semi-truck happened on Highway 99 Thursday morning near Applegate Road.
The crash between two motorists happened about 7:52 a.m. on March 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The semi-truck was on top of the car following the collision. There are no details in the CHP dispatch explaining how the car wound up underneath the semi-truck.
Paramedics responded to the scene and located at least one person with major injuries. They transported the person to a hospital for further treatment.
At least one of the vehicles required a tow truck following the Atwater crash on Highway 99.
There is no further information about the Atwater crash on Highway 99.
