3-Vehicle Collision at Bakersfield Intersection
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (May 12, 2023) — A 3-vehicle Bakersfield crash happened Friday morning at Hermosa Road and South Vineland Road.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 5:42 a.m. on May 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision between a brown Toyota Tundra pickup truck, a maroon Toyota and a grey Nissan at the intersection. The intersection has stop signs posted for motorists traveling on S. Vineland Road, but there are no stop signs for Hermosa Road here.
Paramedics and police responded to the scene to help those involved and brought an ambulance. However, it’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized following the accident.
Tow trucks removed all three vehicles due to significant damage.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
