Motorcycle Crash on 210 Freeway in Baldwin Park
BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2021) — A Baldwin Park motorcycle accident happened Friday morning on the Foothill (210) Freeway at Grand Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the crash happened about 1:42 a.m. on Sept. 10th between the bike and possibly a truck.
The rider went down in traffic lanes near Grand Avenue. Paramedics responded to the scene, but the report did not provide any further details about the condition of the motorcycle rider.
Motorcycle Accident Leads to 3-Hour Freeway Closure
Meanwhile, the motorcycle collision led to the temporary closure of several lanes of the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway.
Police officers responded to the Grand Avenue exit where they located the injured rider and there was debris and fluid from the vehicles across several lanes, said a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman.
The westbound lanes of the freeway reopened at around 5:08 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation by CHP officers.
