SIGNAL HILL, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2022) — Beatriz Lopez, 28, of San Juan Capistrano, died early Sunday in a crash involving an SUV on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Signal Hill.
The collision occurred about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police reported the crash in the southbound lanes of the Interstate 405 Freeway at the Orange Avenue off ramp, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help those involved in the crash, but sadly Beatriz Lopez, 28, of San Juan Capistrano, died at the scene. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the victim after notifying her family members.
