BERKELEY, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash in Berkeley happened Tuesday on the Interstate 80 Freeway, just east of the Ashby Avenue off ramp.
The collision occurred about 8 a.m. on Feb. 14th in the westbound slow lanes of the I-80, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Nissan pickup truck, a gray Kia SUV and a gray Volvo are involved. The Kia suffered moderate front-end damage on the right side and required a tow truck.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries and complaints of pain from at least one person involved in the traffic accident, but there are no specific details.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Berkeley crash on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
