2 Women Killed in Collision in Lancaster
Lancaster, Calif. (October 18, 2021) – Brandi Marie Aldana, 37, of Lancaster, died and two were injured in a solo-vehicle crash at Avenue I and Sierra Highway Saturday morning, ABC7 News reported.
About 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16th, two women in an SUV died when the vehicle reportedly veered off the roadway at the intersection in Lancaster. Police officials reported the SUV went off the roadway, slammed into a pole and overturned.
Due to the force from the impact, the passengers in the SUV sustained serious injuries. Paramedics responded and performed life-saving measures to the victims, but they both sadly died.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified Brandi Aldana. However, officials have not released the name of the second woman described as a woman in her 50s.
2 Injured in Lancaster Crash
Two other occupants in the SUV suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics transported the patients to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the fatal car crash at Avenue I and Sierra Highway.
