Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on SR-134 in Burbank
BURBANK, Calif. (April 10, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured in a traffic accident on the 134 Freeway at Hollywood Way in the Burbank area.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred on the westbound SR-134 at around 7:08 a.m. on April 10th, just east of Olive Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white garden truck reportedly collided with a yellow motorcycle and the rider went down in the HOV lane.
The motorcyclist was lying in the HOV lane and was not moving, the report said. Meanwhile, a black pickup truck stopped behind the rider to protect the victim from traffic. Three other vehicles may have been involved or stopped after the crash.
The Los Angeles Fire Department sent paramedics to help the injured motorcycle rider, but there are no further details at this time.
An investigation into liability for the motorcycle accident on the 134 Freeway is underway.
