Two-Vehicle Crash on Vasco Road at Camino Diablo
BYRON, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2022) — A two-vehicle Byron crash happened Thursday morning in the southbound lanes of Vasco Road at South Camino Diablo.
The collision occurred about 5:35 a.m. on Oct. 27th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A red 2017 Toyota Tundra pickup truck suffered major front-end damage in a crash with a dark-colored Nissan Sentra. CHP officials stated the gray or black car allegedly “swerved into oncoming traffic” and collided with the pickup. The Nissan also suffered major front-end damage.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash. The CHP report stated the injuries are minor.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Byron crash on South Vasco Road.
