Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-run Crash on I-15 Freeway
CAJON PASS, Calif. (March 25, 2022) — A Cajon Pass motorcycle accident happened Thursday night on the Interstate 15 freeway, just north of Kenwood Avenue.
The hit-and-run crash happened at about 6:10 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver involved collided with the motorcycle and fled the scene.
There was a CalFire Chief in the area at the time of the collision so he was one of the first to arrive. The fire officials helped the injured man who was down in the roadway near the center divider. The CHP report stated the rider was alert, but suffered a leg injury.
Meanwhile, fire vehicles blocked the no.1 lane as paramedics tended to the patient and transported him by ambulance to a hospital, officials said.
Finally, investigators with the California Highway Patrol are handling the Cajon Pass motorcycle accident.
