Head-on Crash on Highway 29 in Calistoga
CALISTOGA, Calif. (June 14, 2022) — A head-on crash in Calistoga happened Tuesday on Highway 29 near the Mount St. Helena Trailhead.
The collision occurred on State Route 29 about 6:10 a.m. on June 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP dispatch said the drivers of a white Toyota Prius and a white Toyota Camry crashed when one of them veered into the path of the other motorist.
The 911 operator sent the Calistoga Police Department to the scene and Calfire paramedics.
At least one person suffered injuries in the collision. An ambulance transported them to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the vehicles and cleared the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Highway 29 crash in Calistoga.
