2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 215 Freeway in Murrieta
MURRIETA, Calif. (June 27, 2022) — A two-vehicle car accident occurred Monday on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway at Murrieta Hot Springs Road.
The drivers of a red Toyota Corolla and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck collided about 6:51 a.m. on June 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report the crash occurred in the No. 1 lane of the 215 Freeway in Murrieta. The pickup truck wound up in the center divider area.
There were minor injuries reported following the crash, but no further details about those hurt.
Both vehicles required a tow truck following the Murrieta car accident on the 215 Freeway.
Also, the CHP is heading up the investigation and will determine fault for the Murrieta crash. Finally, it’s unknown if any citations will be made.
