Multi-Vehicle Crash on SR-71 at Pine Avenue
CHINO HILLS, Calif. (August 24, 2022) — Two multi-vehicle Chino Hills crashes happened Wednesday morning on State Route 71, just south of Pine Avenue.
The crashes occurred about 7:34 a.m. on August 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white semi-truck and a white tanker truck collided initially. Also, three other motorists collided at the same location within minutes of one another.
Paramedics responded and found a man with a leg injury that needed medical treatment. It’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital or just treated at the scene.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove at least one of the truck’s and its closed box trailer from the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the two collisions.
