Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route Highway 88 in Clements
CLEMENTS, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Clements crash happened early Monday morning on State Route 88 (Highway 88), just east of Liberty Road.
The 4-vehicle collision happened about 6:16 a.m. on Feb. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Honda sedan, a silver sedan, a silver Jeep and a four vehicle collided due to unknown circumstances. Several lanes were blocked by the vehicles and one of the cars faced the wrong way after the collision.
Paramedics responded to help those injured from both of the vehicles including a woman with major injuries.
Investigators are reviewing evidence in an effort to determine fault for the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove at least one of the vehicles from the scene.
