2-Vehicle Coarsegold Crash on State Route Hwy 41
COARSEGOLD, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2021) — A Coarsegold car accident on Highway 41 happened Wednesday afternoon at Pony Express Lane in Madera County.
The collision happened about 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 1st in front of the United States Postal Service., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray Toyota RAV4 SUV and a white GMC Chevrolet pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances, police said. The crash happened near an area where Caltrans is working in the roadway.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the Coarsegold car accident on Highway 41.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and treated one person with minor lacerations and another remained in the vehicle with complaints of back pain and a hurt wrist. The CHP report did not mention if anyone was taken to a hospital.
Furthermore, investigators with the CHP are working on the incident and will determine fault.
