Major Car Accident on PCH in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 19, 2024) — A violent two-or-three vehicle crash happened Saturday night on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) near 19th Street in Huntington Beach.
At least two people were injured in the collision that occurred on Feb. 17th, according to OC Street Live.
The report shows a red car with rear-end damaged overturned onto its roof, a black sedan with major front-end damage and what appears to be a parked gray SUV with rear-end damage.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision, but speed appears to be a factor based on the severity of the collision. Authorities closed down PCH between Goldenwest and 20th streets.
Paramedics responded to help at least two people who were hurt, but there are no further details.
Finally, the Huntington Beach Police Dept. is heading up the investigation into what happened. It’s unknown at this time if any arrests or citations were made.
However, police arrest logs show they did arrest a 31-year-old Garden Grove man the same night at around 9:18 p.m. on DUI charges and for causing bodily injury. It’s unknown if this person was one of the drivers involved in the PCH crash.
