Coroner Identifies Pedestrian Killed in Palmdale
PALMDALE, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2021) – Daniel Ricozapata, 26, died early Sunday in a pedestrian accident at 25th Street and Joshua Hills Drive in Palmdale.
The victim was identified today by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. The report did not mention the city of residence for Daniel Ricozapata.
Also, the collision happened just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12th, according to the coroner. Sadly, the young man died at the scene.
Someone called 911 for help after a driver struck the victim. Operators dispatched Palmdale Sheriff’s deputies at 2:14 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of 25th Street East and Joshua Hills Drive in Palmdale.
Additionally, the cause of the deadly pedestrian accident remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale station.
Furthermore, the report did not mention if the motorist involved stopped and cooperated with authorities.
