Fatal 2-Vehicle Azusa Car Crash
AZUSA, Calif. (April 13, 2021) – Danny Mcelwee-Heiss, 34, died Tuesday in a collision at Azusa Avenue and Gladstone Street.
Also, a sports car and an SUV were involved in the crash about 1:30 a.m. on April 13th, according to the Azusa Police Department. It’s unknown what led up to the two vehicles colliding at the Azusa intersection, however, the SUV overturned during the crash. Danny Mcelwee-Heiss became trapped in the wreckage and died at the scene of the accident, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.
Police did not mention if there were any injuries.
Meanwhile, the Azusa Police Department is investigating the cause of the fatal crash and liability.
