Man, 60, Killed in Sacramento Car Accident
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (August 12, 2021) – Danny Zgombic, 60, died in a pedestrian accident at Elsie Avenue and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.
The collision happened about 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10th, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch reported a driver struck the pedestrian due to unknown reasons in Sacramento. The driver hit the person on eastbound Elsie Avenue near the intersection with Stockton Boulevard.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 99. They found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then confirmed the death of Danny Zgombic at the scene.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. The cause of the fatal Sacramento pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
CHP closed down the area of Elsie Avenue and Stockton Boulevard for the investigation.
