Woman, 83, Killed in Crash with Amazon Delivery Van
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2022) – Divyaben Kiritkumar Bhatt, 83, of Anaheim, died in a crash between an Amazon delivery van and Toyota Prius in Anaheim at Orange and South Dale avenues.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 7:55 p.m. on Oct. 26th, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
Police officers responded to the intersection and located both the Amazon delivery vehicle and a heavily-damaged Toyota Prius.
The Anaheim woman was riding as a passenger in the Prius driven by another woman.
Paramedics responded, but sadly Divyaben Kiritkumar Bhatt later died of her injuries. They transported the driver of the Prius to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, police said. The Amazon driver had complaints of pain, but was not taken to a hospital.
The Anaheim Police Dept. is heading up the the investigation of the collision.
