Child Airlifted to Hospital
LANCASTER, Calif. (July 6, 2023) – A 4-year-old girl suffered traumatic injuries to her face in a Lancaster dog attack Wednesday afternoon on Thomas Drive.
The little girl was bitten in the face by the dog around 4 p.m. on July 5th, near East Avenue K, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
It happened at a home in the 2300 block of Thomas Drive, between 20th Street East and 22nd Street East, according to news reports.
A LACSD helicopter rushed the injured girl to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
There were no further details at this time about the injured girl, the type of dog or what led up to the attack.
Investigators are working on the Lancaster dog attack case.
