3-Vehicle Crash in Earlimart on Highway 99
EARLIMART, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2022) — A major-injury Earlimart crash on Highway 99 at Avenue 56 happened Monday morning in Tulare County.
The collision occurred about 9:48 a.m. on Oct. 10th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers involved include a silver, mid-size SUV possibly a Ford Explorer or Chevrolet, a green Toyota pickup truck and a white Kia or similar sedan.
Someone called 911 operators to report the crash and told them the SUV was allegedly driving recklessly prior to the collision and nearly missed hitting their vehicle before crashing with the other two.
Paramedics responded to help those who suffered major injuries in the crash, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed all three damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash. Also, police at the scene requested a lab tech respond to determine if drugs and or alcohol are a factor.
