Man, 27, Killed in Feb. 23 Crash on Highway 74
HEMET, Calif. (Feb. 29, 2024) — Elder Oswaldo Mazariegos Lopez, 27, of Hemet, died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 74 in Hemet.
The deadly, hit-and-run crash occurred at around 9:48 p.m. on Feb. 23rd, just east of Georgia Avenue, according to a report by The Patch and the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.
Investigators from the California Highway Patrol’s San Gorgonio division are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 74 in Riverside County.
