Person In Grave Condition From Electrocution

 Person Injured in Electric Vault Electrocution in San Pedro on Seaside Avenue SAN PEDRO, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2021) – One person was injured in an electric vault electrocution accident Thursday morning in San Pedro.

Someone called 911 for help about 10:53 a.m. on Nov. 4th after a person suffered an electric shock at the San Pedro vault at 324 S. Seaside Avenue at Navy Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene near Terminal Island where they located one person who was gravely injured. The person was not in a confined-space inside an electrical vault as initially reported. However, the emergency crews found the person outside the vault upon their arrival at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One Hospitalized After Electrocution Accident

Emergency medical workers transported the injured person to a nearby hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

The report did not mention if the injured person is an employee or someone else. Also, there is no confirmation as to whether the electrical vault is a public or private facility.

Additionally, the circumstances leading up to the electrocution accident are not known at this time.
