Woman, 25, Killed in Collision at North Hollywood Intersection
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (March 19, 2024) – Emily Gonzales, a 25-year-old Sun Valley woman, died in a North Hollywood crash at Tujunga Boulevard and Sherman Way.
The Sun Valley woman was involved in a two-vehicle collision at around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th, according to the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner.
She was traveling northbound on Tujunga Boulevard and was involved in a crash with another driver who was heading eastbound on Sherman Way, the Los Angeles Police Department said. There are traffic lights in all directions at the intersection, but one of the drivers went through a light.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Emily Gonzales deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown if the other driver was injured in the accident, but they stopped and cooperated with police officers.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
