2-Vehicle Head-on Crash Highway 79
AGUANGA, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2021) — A fatal Aguanga crash happened Tuesday morning on Highway 79 near Sage Road.
One person died in the two-vehicle traffic collision about 5:27 a.m. on Nov. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to this collision, but the violent crash left automobile parts and tire debris scattered across the highway, My News LA reports.
CHP officials requested the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner’s office respond to the scene on Highway 79.
Authorities report a second person suffered moderate injuries in the collision, the report said. Paramedics responded to help the injured person. Shortly after arriving at the scene, medics requested a helicopter to transport the injured person to the hospital, authorities said.
CHP investigators seek to determine fault for the fatal Aguanga crash and witnesses may contact them.
