Deadly Anaheim Car Accident at 91 Freeway and SR-57
ANAHEIM, Calif. (August 18, 2021) — A fatal Anaheim crash on the 91 Freeway at State Route 57 Wednesday left two people dead in Orange County.
The collision happened about 9:08 a.m. on August 18th near the 57 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two people are dead after a vehicle reported went off the freeway and crashed between the on ramp and an apartment complex, authorities with the CHP said.
Fatal Anaheim Crash 91 Freeway
The Anaheim Fire Department responded and pronounced both people dead on scene. The age and gender of the victims is unknown at this time. The Orange County Sheriff Coroner will release the identities after notifying family members of the victims.
Meanwhile, the CHP is heading up an investigation into the cause of the fatal Anaheim crash.
