Bicyclist Killed in Car Accident in Beverly Hills, California
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (April 21, 2022) — A fatal Beverly Hills bicycle accident on Santa Monica Boulevard happened early Thursday morning on Santa Monica Boulevard at Rodeo Drive.
The deadly crash occurred just after midnight on Thursday, April 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver reportedly struck the person riding a bike at the Beverly Hills intersection due to unknown circumstances.
The Beverly Hills Fire Department responded and transported the injured person to a local area hospital.
Shortly after, they were pronounced deceased at the hospital. Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and is cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities closed down Santa Monica Boulevard in both directions as well as Rodeo Drive.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
