Deadly Crash on Gopher Canyon Road on St. Patrick’s Day
BONSALL, Calif. (March 18, 2024) — At least one person died and two were injured in a fatal Bonsall crash Sunday night at Gopher Canyon Road and Hoxie Ranch Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 11:26 p.m. on March 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials reported a black truck and a white Toyota Camry were involved in the car accident, but it’s unknown what led to the collision.
Paramedics responded and located three people with injuries and two of them were trapped in one of the vehicles with major injuries. At least one person was transported to Palomar Medical Center in unknown condition.
Unfortunately, at least one person died following the Bonsall crash on Gopher Canyon Road.
Finally, investigators closed down the eastbound and westbound lanes of Gopher Canyon Road to conduct an investigation into the Bonsall collision. Also, police are working to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
