Man Killed, Woman Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash in Burbank
BURBANK, Calif. (April 29, 2022) – A fatal Burbank crash happened Thursday afternoon at Front Street and Magnolia Boulevard near the Interstate 5 Freeway.
The deadly, two-vehicle crash occurred on Front Street about 12:30 p.m. on April 28th, just south of Burbank Boulevard, according to the Burbank Police Department.
A driver in a blue sedan reportedly collided with a white SUV. Witnesses told authorities they saw the car traveling at an unsafe speed prior to the crash, but that has not been confirmed by police as the cause of the accident, the report said.
The man driving the blue car suffered major injuries in the collision.
Paramedics responded to help him, but he died at the scene,” police said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the man’s name after his relatives are notified of his death.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the SUV suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries in the crash. She was transported by ambulance to a hospital and is expected to survive. There were no other occupants in either one of the vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the fatal Burbank crash.
