Driver Killed, Passenger Injured in Calimesa Crash
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2022) — Sergio Quintero, 22, of Yucaipa, died and his passenger was injured in a solo-vehicle Calimesa crash at Singleton Road and Bryant Street.
Also, the fatal, solo-vehicle crash occurred on September 3rd around 3:27 a.m. in Calimesa, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Police responded to the major-injury traffic accident and located a driver and passenger in the vehicle.
Investigators determined the vehicle went off the roadway and overturned into an embankment. Sadly, the young driver died at the scene, but his passenger survived with minor injuries. Paramedics transported the injured passenger to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the cause of the Calimesa crash remains under investigation.
