Woman Ran Over By Her Own Truck on Benton Road
TEMECULA, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2022) — A woman died in a car accident at Benton Road and Sage Road Tuesday morning in the Temecula area.
The incident happened about 6:54 a.m. on Jan. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman was reportedly putting her dog inside her vehicle when her own truck rolled or drove over her, police said. It’s unknown at this time if the vehicle was running or turned off. Also, the CHP did not mention what make and model the vehicle is.
The deadly accident happened in front of 41601 East Benton Road. CHP officials requested the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner respond to the scene.
The CHP report did not provide any further details about the car accident on Benton Road. However, the circumstances remain under investigation.
