2-Vehicle Fatality Crash at Barstow Intersection
BARSTOW, Calif. (March 5, 2024) — A fatal car accident happened Tuesday morning at North Dickenson Avenue and West Barstow Avenue in Barstow.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 11:14 a.m. on March 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Hyundai Santa Fe and a GMC pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances.
UPDATE: Woman Killed in Barstow Crash ID’d
A 65-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Also, one of the vehicles overturned onto its roof, the report said.
Paramedics responded and treated the other 45-year-old driver for minor injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Hyundai with front-end and left front damage and the other with rollover damage.
