High School Student Killed, Another Injured in Crash on Ager Road
SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2022) – A teenager died and another suffered major injuries in a solo crash Friday night on Ager Road, just north of Shelly Road in Siskiyou County.
The collision occurred about 9:30 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two high school students were ejected from a vehicle in a solo crash. Authorities say neither one of them were wearing their seat belts and both suffered major injuries. One died at the scene and the other remains in the intensive care unit at UC Davis Children’s Medical Center.
The CHP does not believe alcohol was a factor in the fatal crash.
Meanwhile, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
