Two Women Killed in Solo Collision
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (March 20, 2024) — Two women were killed Tuesday night in a crash at Clovis Avenue and Butler Avenue in southeast Fresno.
The solo-vehicle collision occurred at around 6 p.m. on March 19th near the Fresno intersection, according to ABC 30 News.
Authorities believe the driver was speeding before the white SUV went off the roadway and smashed head-on into a pole and a concrete pillar, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics responded and confirmed the death of both women at the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and do not know if drugs and or alcohol were a factor in the Fresno crash on Clovis Avenue.
