Two Killed, Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Corcoran Road
LOST HILLS, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2022) — A fatal crash on Corcoran Road happened Monday morning between three motorists, just north of Highway 46 in the Lost Hills area of Kern County.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:41 a.m. on Oct. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police say a driver in a black Infiniti allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head on with a silver Kia Spectra.
CHP officials and paramedics responded to the scene where they located five people with injuries, but sadly two people in the Kia Spectra died at the scene. One person was pinned in a black Infiniti and two others were walking around with undisclosed injuries.
Also, authorities closed down Corcoran Road to all traffic and called for the coroner.
Meanwhile, one person from the Infiniti was transported to a hospital for follow-up care.
Finally, the cause of the crash and liability are under investigation.
