2-Vehicle Head-on Crash on Domenigoni Parkway
WINCHESTER, Calif. (April 29, 2022) — A fatal head-on crash happened Thursday night at Domenigoni Parkway and Winchester Road (state Route Highway 79) in the Winchester area.
The deadly, two-vehicle collision occurred about 10:58 p.m. on April 28th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a black Honda Civic and a black Nissan collided in a high-speed collision, police said.
Cal Fire Riverside firefighters responded to help those involved and three people were transported to Inland Valley Regional Medical Center.
One of those taken to the hospital was Anderson Sahtarria, 32, of Menifee. She later died at about 1:31 a.m. Friday, police said.
Meanwhile, investigators closed down the eastbound lanes of Domenigoni Parkway from Winchester Road due to the investigation and cleanup.
Tow trucks responded to remove both of the vehicles due to major front-end damage.
Investigators will determine liability for the deadly crash.
