Fatal Crash on State Route 70 in Linda Area
LINDA, Calif. (April 30, 2021) — A fatal crash on Highway 70 near Feather River Boulevard happened early Friday morning in Linda, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The 5:02 a.m. collision happened in the southbound lanes of State Route 70 on April 30, just south of Marysville.

Two vehicles collided and one wound up overturned in a ditch on the side of the roadway. At least one person suffered fatal injuries in the Highway 70 crash, but there were no further details. The report did not mention if anyone was injured in the collision.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown at this time what led up to the fatal Highway 70 crash. However, police are at the scene and piecing together evidence.
The CHP issued a SigAlert about 5:19 a.m. due to the traffic accident. Witnesses are urged to contact the CHP.
