Semi-Truck, Car Crash Interstate 15 Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2021) — A semi-truck ran over a car early Tuesday in a fatal crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of Victorville.
The deadly collision happened about 2:50 a.m. on Oct. 12th near Wild Wash Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-tractor trailer truck reportedly collided with a 4-door sedan in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the Interstate 15 freeway. It’s unknown what exactly led up to the collision, but it appears that at least one person died in the crash. Tow trucks removed three vehicles for evidence following the fatal crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner responded to the scene.
Caltrans closed down the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the I-15 freeway and diverted traffic to the No. 3 lane.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
