1 Dead, 3 Injured in Gilman Springs on Friday, Oct. 22nd
GILMAN SPRINGS, California (October 22, 2021) – A fatal Lamb Canyon Road crash happened Friday morning at Highway 79 near Gilman Springs Road.
Firefighters and paramedics with the Cal Fire Riverside County Fire Department responded to the intersection due to the collision involving multiple vehicles, the Patch News reports.
A total of three motorists collided due to unknown circumstances around 6:48 a.m. on Oct. 22nd, according to the fire department. Several people became trapped in the wreckage, but all three were extricated by firefighters.
One person died at the scene of the Lamb Canyon Road crash. Also, paramedics transported three others by ambulances to a local hospital. One of them suffered serious injuries in the Gilman Springs crash.
Meanwhile, police did not release the identity of the person who died in the fatal Gilman Springs crash.
Authorities closed down the roadway at Sanderson Avenue/State Route 79 between Gilman Springs Road and Ramona Expressway to conduct an investigation.
