2-Vehicle Car Accident in East Bakersfield Area
Potomac Park, CA (April 30, 2024) — A fatal crash happened Tuesday morning at Mount Vernon Avenue and East California Avenue in Potomac Park, East Bakersfield.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:55 a.m. on April 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Nissan SUV and a white work pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection.
Police and paramedics responded and one person was confirmed dead at the scene.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the traffic accident, but investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Mount Vernon Avenue.
