CHP Reports Car, Semi-Truck Crash on State Route 41
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (May 10, 2024) — A fatal crash involving a semi-truck happened Thursday night on Highway 41, just south of Fresno.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound SR-41 at South Avenue, according to ABC 7 News.
The crash resulted in a vehicle becoming pinned under the semi-truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person died following the crash, however, there are no further details at this time.
The report did not mention if there were others who were injured.
Authorities closed down the northbound lanes of Highway 41 due to the fatal crash at South Avenue to conduct their investigation into what happened and determine fault.
