One Killed in Car Accident on 134 Freeway in Glendale
GLENDALE, Calif. (April 2, 2024) – One person died in a Glendale crash on the Ventura 134 Freeway between a white Honda Civic and a semi truck.
The deadly crash occurred at around 4:53 a.m. on April 2nd, just east of North Glendale Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officers responded to the westbound lanes of the freeway where they located the car and the semi-truck blocking the middle lanes.
Paramedics responded and confirmed the death of one person at the scene. The identity of the victim was not released, pending notification of their relatives.
Police issued a SigAlert and closed down the HOV and Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway for roughly two hours to work on the case.
The cause of the Glendale crash on the 134 Freeway as well as liability will be determined.
