Big Rig Truck and Sedan Crash at Dixon Intersection
DIXON, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2022) — A fatal Dixon crash involving a truck and a car happened Monday morning at Robben Road and Vaughn Road in Solano County.
The collision occurred about 6:56 a.m. on Oct. 10th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The two motorists collided due to unknown circumstances. One of the vehicles went off the roadway and overturned into an irrigation ditch, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but sadly at least one person died. It’s unknown if there are also injuries from the collision at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the overturned vehicle from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
