One Killed in Crash With Caltrans Truck on Freeway in El Segundo
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (April 25, 2022) – A fatal El Segundo crash involving a Caltrans truck left one person dead Sunday on the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at North Nash Street.
The three-vehicle crash occurred a little after 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 24th, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene.
The drivers of the Caltrans truck and two other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
CHP officials issued a Sigalert at 8:20 a.m. and closed down both the number one and two lanes due to the investigation.
The investigation into the fatal El Segundo crash is ongoing. Witnesses may contact the CHP or contact them for further information.
