Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Fremont Boulevard
FREMONT, Calif. (May 20, 2022) — One person died Thursday in a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Fremont in the city’s Centerville district.
The pedestrian accident occurred just after 3:30 p.m. on May 19th, according to the Fremont Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the scene in the 37200 block of Fremont Boulevard between Peralta Boulevard and Bonde Way.
Also, the Fremont Police Department arrived at the location to investigate what happened.
Authorities advised other motorists and residents there was a fatality involved at 5:55 p.m.
All northbound lanes closed down temporarily, but later reopened shortly before 6:15 p.m.
There are no further details about the deadly collision.
